Before every appointment

If you are unsure whether a product, procedure or sensitivity matters, contact Vanessa before the day rather than guessing.

  • Arrive with a clean canvas

    Arrive with the treatment area clean and free from makeup, self-tan and oily residue where possible.

  • Share your treatment history

    Tell Vanessa before booking about allergies, sensitivities, previous reactions, active irritation or recent eye, skin or cosmetic procedures.

  • Check about a patch test

    Contact Aura Glow at least 48 hours beforehand if you are new to the service or have reacted before, so Vanessa can advise whether a patch test is needed.

  • Lash appointment? Bring glasses

    Remove contact lenses before a lash appointment and bring glasses if you need them afterwards.

Before your appointment

  • Avoid brow waxing, threading or tweezing for at least 2 weeks before.
  • Avoid retinol, vitamin A, AHA and BHA near the brows for 72 hours before.
  • Arrive with clean brows, with no makeup, sunscreen or oils on the brow area.
  • Inform us if you have had any recent skin treatments, including peels, microdermabrasion or laser.
After

After your appointment

  • Avoid touching, picking or scratching the brow area.
  • Do not apply makeup or heavy creams on the brows.
  • Avoid hot showers, steam, saunas and swimming.
  • Do not exfoliate or scrub the brow area.
  • Avoid retinol, vitamin A, AHA and BHA products.

How long does it usually last?

Hybrid dye typically lasts 5–7 days on the skin and 4–6 weeks on the brow hairs, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.

  • For brows that stay perfectly shaped and defined, rebook every 3–4 weeks to maintain both colour and shape.

Before

Before your appointment

  • Do not wax, tweeze or thread brows for at least 48 hours before.
  • Avoid retinol, vitamin A, AHA and BHA around the brows for 72 hours before.
  • Arrive with clean brows.
  • Wash your hair before your appointment, as you cannot wet the brow area for 24 hours after.
  • Inform us of any skin concerns or allergies.
After

First 24–48 hours

  • Do not wet the brow area for at least 24 hours.
  • Avoid hot steam, including showers, saunas and cooking steam, for at least 24–48 hours.
  • Do not touch or rub brows.
  • Avoid sleeping on your face or side, and avoid eye masks.
  • Avoid oil-based makeup removers and cleansers.
  • Avoid exfoliating around the brows.
  • Avoid retinol, vitamin A, AHA, BHA and steroid creams for at least 24 hours.

How long does it usually last?

Brow lamination typically lasts 4–6 weeks with proper aftercare.

  • After 24 hours, use a nourishing treatment or Elleeplex Advanced Aftercare daily to hydrate and condition your brows.
  • After your brows get wet, gently brush them back into place.
  • For soft, lifted brows that hold their shape, schedule your maintenance appointment approximately every 6–8 weeks. Vanessa will check your brow condition before any repeat lamination.

  • Avoid waterproof mascara for 48 hours before your appointment.
  • Do not use lash serums or oils for 24 hours before.
  • Arrive with no eye makeup on the day of your appointment.
  • Remove contact lenses before the service.
  • Inform us of any eye sensitivities or allergies prior to treatment.
After

First 24–48 hours

  • Do not get your lashes wet for 24 hours.
  • Avoid hot water, steam and saunas near the eyes.
  • Do not rub your eyes or lashes.
  • Do not use lash curlers.
  • Avoid sleeping on your face or side, and avoid eye masks.
  • Avoid eye makeup removers and oil cleansers around the eyes.
  • Avoid swimming for at least 48 hours.
  • Avoid waterproof mascara. You may use lash-lift-safe mascara that removes easily without oil products.

How long does it usually last?

A lash lift typically lasts 4–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and aftercare.

  • After 24 hours, use an aftercare treatment or Elleeplex Advanced Aftercare daily to hydrate and condition your lashes.
  • Brush lashes gently with a clean spoolie daily.
  • For consistently lifted lashes, book your maintenance appointment every 6–8 weeks in line with your lash cycle.

How to use it

  1. Follow your treatment timing.

    Start after the first 24 hours, following Vanessa’s personalised aftercare advice.

  2. Apply to clean lashes and brows.

    Brush on a light coating in the morning and evening.

  3. Let it dry before mascara.

    Allow the gel to dry fully before applying mascara; your evening application can be before bed.

Keeping it fresh

Close the cap after use and keep the tube away from heat and direct sunlight. The manufacturer lists a six-month period after opening; follow the date and opening symbol on your pack.

Comfort comes first

Keep the gel out of your eyes. If it gets into the eye, rinse thoroughly with water. Stop use if irritation develops and seek medical advice if redness or discomfort persists.

Conditioning Cream

Thuya Regenerating Cream with Argan

Helps keep brows and lashes soft, hydrated and glossy.

Apply a small amount in a thin layer to clean, dry hairs.

Cream Applicator

Pick up a little cream and gently spread over the hairs as shown by your therapist.

Avoid contact with eyes.

Styling Brush

Gently brush hairs into place.

  • Brows: follow your styled shape.
  • Lashes: brush upwards gently, without pulling.

Your 7-day routine

Start 24 hours after your treatment.
Apply once each night for 7 days.

Contact Aura Glow before the appointment if the treatment area is irritated, injured or recently treated, or if you are unsure about a previous reaction. If you experience unexpected discomfort, persistent redness, swelling or eye symptoms afterwards, contact Aura Glow promptly and seek appropriate medical advice. Seek urgent care for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms.
