Accepted Answer

Start with the service category that matches your goal, or book the complimentary 10-minute phone consultation if you would like help comparing options before choosing.

Question 3

What is ASMR?

Accepted Answer

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It describes a pleasant tingling sensation that some people experience in response to gentle sounds, slow movements or close personal attention, often with a feeling of calm.

Question 4

What does ASMR Inspired mean at Aura Glow?

Accepted Answer

Soft Touch Sensory is ASMR Inspired: feather-light touch, hair play, soft brushes and selected tools create a personally tailored relaxation experience. You choose the areas, tools and pace you enjoy. Responses vary, and tingles are not guaranteed.

Question 5

Do I have to feel tingles?

Accepted Answer

No. Not everyone experiences ASMR. A comfortable session does not depend on tingles, and neither sensations nor relaxation are guaranteed. Tell Vanessa what feels comfortable; you can change, pause or stop at any time.

Question 6

What does the research tell us?

Accepted Answer

Research has explored ASMR triggers, feelings and physiological responses. These studies concern ASMR, mainly through videos and self-reported experiences. They did not test Aura Glow treatments or this practitioner course, and do not establish either as a treatment for a medical condition.

Question 7

Is Soft Touch Sensory the same as massage?

Accepted Answer

No. It is an ASMR-inspired light-touch sensory experience that may include hair play, soft brushes, fingertip tracing, gentle scratching and selected tools. It does not include deep-tissue, remedial or firm-pressure massage.

Question 8

Do brow and lash services require a patch test?

Accepted Answer

A patch test may be recommended or required before tinting, Hybrid Dye or lamination. Tell Vanessa about known allergies, sensitivities or previous reactions before your appointment. A patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur.
